Title: Getsuyoubi no Tawawa (Tawawa on Mondays)
Rated PG (suggestive material)
3.5 of 5 stars
This is a rather interesting series as it's one of the short 5 minute episodes shows. We find an average, everyday working stiff who's requested to act as a bodyguard against molesters for a buxom high school student, named Ai, who rides the commuter train on Mondays for a weekly, school committee meeting.
Episode 1:
ReplyDeleteWe see into the dreary life of the average working employee who's hates Mondays as they are the end of their leisurely weekends and the rough start of weekly progress reports and grimacing bosses. On one of these nondescript Monday morning, we find a rather fortuitous accident happen. Having just missed the train, we find our hero standing at the bottom of the stairs while our young high school student is rushing down the stairs to the train platform. In her haste, she missteps and perilously launches herself down the stairs to the concrete platform below. As she flies through the air to her pending doom (not really but it sound better), our accidental hero turns to find a monster rack smacking him in the face. Either in shock from the smack in the face or his absolute dumb luck, our hero suddenly finds himself in a hospital bed with our young high schooler furiously asking for forgiveness.
As a development from their accident introduction, our hero and heroine find themselves in an interesting symbiotic relationship. Our hero gets a distraction from his depressing Monday mornings and our heroine gets a bodyguard for any would-be molesters. In this weeks episode, as 'payment' Ai presents a button as this week's charm. She explains that the button had popped from her shirt due to her rather enormous chest. With a quick 'Good luck at work this week,' Ai waves from the station platform as the train door closes.
Commentary:
I'm going to guess that the name of the hero is never provided to allow all the average male workers to relate to the story. We'll see how things evolve...
